We've been busy at Aware Monitoring HQ since our FOWA launch. Over the last week we've rolled out heaps of service enhancements which you may or may not be aware of:
We've now added a vital additional monitoring location for our outage validation. Its 'double-checking' outages are real. This means we’re now checking your websites from two locations. The new monitoring node is working very well and has significantly reduced the number of sub one minute false positive outages logged. We've also located this new monitoring within a separate datacentre. We plan to introduce more monitoring locations and further sophistication in the not too distance future.
We've add a Edit Profile link to the top right of all screens. This gives you admin functions such as password-change and email address changes. It will also be a place to store your SMS phone number for alerts, and set your local timezone.
We've made the monitoring view more consistent following beta user feedback and have improved the results navigation. We've also made a number of back-end changes to dramatically speed things up. Page loads and graph navigation are now much quicker. Have a try, you’ll really see the difference.
We're hoping to introduce Uservoice for feedback on the app. In the meantime please drop us a line on beta@awaremonitoing to tell us what you think.
