We're excited to announce several new features this month including monitor pausing and scheduled maintenance windows. These functions can be used to temporarily suspend monitoring for an individual URL, for example to avoid error results and alerts during a site upgrade or planned outage.
Monitoring can now be manually paused and re-started with a simple click. Available on all current price-plans - you'll see the new buttons throughout the application on monitor, report, and configuration views. Simply click the pause button to suspend monitoring (and alerting), then click the start button when you're ready to resume. You'll know instantly if a monitor is paused by it's greyed-out status.

Manually suspend monitoring and alerting by clicking pause.
You can now configure scheduled and repeating maintenance windows for individual monitors. Use this feature when you want to suspend and re-start monitoring at a pre-defined date/time. To add a maintenance window, use the new Maintenance tab in the monitor configuration view - during these periods we will automatically suspend monitoring and alerting. Maintenance windows are available on our Plus price-plans and higher.

Add scheduled maintenance windows.
We've changed our process for notifying account owners when they run of SMS credits. From now on, when SMS credits reach zero we will send the account owner one notification SMS along with one notification email. We will not continue to send repeat notifications of zero SMS credits.
