New Year’s features & plans

A Happy New Year to all our blog readers!

We’ve been very busy here at Aware Monitroing HQ over the last few weeks building new features and working with our new customers. Here what’s new in our app to kick-off 2010:

Time-based Alerts

We've added an new option for alert notifications. You can now customise when alerts are sent based on a time-period - e.g. only send alerts after 5 minutes of downtime. By default we will send alerts as soon as we detect a problem, you can set you own thresholds via the  'Notifications' tab on the 'Edit Monitor' screen.

Email Reports

We'll to send you summary reports via email from next week. The reports will contain availability and performance statistics for each monitor, along with details of any outages. Set up your report subscriptions via the new 'Reports' tab on the 'Edit Monitor' screen.

Monitor Test

We've added a 'TEST' button to the 'Edit Monitor' screen. Click this button at any point during monitor configuration to test the current settings. This is especially useful to test checks against authenticated sites, or to set up content-checks (via the 'Advanced' tab).

Coming soon...

API POST Monitoring

We're in the final stages of testing API POST monitoring and will be releasing this eagerly awaited feature within the next couple of weeks. If you'd like to be in our early test group then please send us an email at help@awaremonitoring.com

Reseller Partner Programme

We are very excited with the launch our reseller partner programme next week. This new service has been designed specifically for web developers, web designers, web hosting/support companies. Partnering with us will increase your profits and help you build deeper customer relationships.

We are also putting together an Aware Monitoring newsletter so you can keep in-touch with our latest developments and plans.
